The Stinking Rose

Standard

My garlic stamp presents me with the same challenge of all other white things I’ve encountered. I might go in and add some color post-stamping. A few strains of purple and grey.

I have to say that this is one where I actually prefer the stamp itself to the image it creates.

  1. White ink on black paper? For some reason this ocurred to me. I know it’s not what you are doing, but the tiny garlic plate put that idea into my mind when you mentioned you liked it better than the printed image.

Apropos of nothing, I guess! I like the garlic.

    • Yes, I have printed white on black and it’s pretty effective. Just a challenge when you’re working within “white confines,” so to speak, such as a journal.
